I wouldn't call myself a trendy tourist, but I do try to look good and be comfortable when I travel. My husband and I really like to pack in a lot of sightseeing, eating and exploring while on vacation, so I need outfits that are comfy, easy to pack and can last all day.
Something I think is great for this are pants that can be rolled up and buttoned to form capris. This way you can wear your pants long early in the morning or late at night when it is cold, and roll them up during the afternoon when the sun is out.
I also like to wear a sleeveless top for the heat and bring a thin sweater or cardigan in my bag to throw on if it rains or gets chilly. This is also essential if we'll be visiting a church or temple, where your shoulders and arms need to be covered.
| Old Navy white pants that double as capris. LOFT tank and handmade scarf purchased in Laos. My go-to look for traveling when it's hot. |
| Add a layer and roll down your pants for later in the day. Target Xhileration top in XS. |
